A couple of folks
asked me that since so many folks couldnt be in Ohio, would I post the speech I
made to Bill and Linda. That way, everyone would be able to see exactly what was
said at the presentation.
I had sent a copy of what it was "supposed" to
be to Greg last Wednesday. But Friday night, after conferring with several
folks, I made some major changes and stayed up till after midnight in the motel
room re-writing it.
I've sent a copy of it to Greg, (I even left in all
my little margin notes to myself) and he's gonna post it to the iwing.org site.
We (ALL OF US) did a WONDERFUL THING this weekend. I cant say
enough times how much I wish you all could have been there. This is something we
will surely pass on to our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
WINGERS HELPING
WINGERS
What a blessing you all are to me!
(And to Jess Tolbirt... I should be thanking YOU! Without you, I woulda
sold that 1200, and never had the opportunity to be a part of this. And no, I
cant POSSIBLY imagine what we can do to top this! )
Beautiful downtown Manchester, Jaw-ja. (dont blink, you'll miss
us!)

Greetings from
Dallas. I encountered bad weather leaving Dayton and missed two connecting
flights so I'm spending the night here. The video is awesome! I showed a brief
segment to the Hines' and you can guess the reaction.
I've got the
entire speech (tears & all) and the first ride by Bill! I'll try to post
a short mpeg video of Bill getting on the bike or starting it.
For those
who might want a video of the event, please send me an email with the words
"HINES VIDEO" in the subject line. This is very important to aid in my filtering
incoming messages. After I guage the interest, I'll be able to quote a price as
I may have to have it commercially reproduced.

Joe I did not see the
original ad (post) from Linda or learn of the fund raising until too late. But,
this has got to be the feel good story of the year. Congratulations to you and
everyone else involved in making this such a memorable event.
