I knew the nicest people ride motorcycles but you guys have outdone yourselves. You make me proud to be a GoldWing rider. Thank you for doing what you did for Bill and Linda. I know they will be proud owners of that red Gold Wing for a long time.
You have done a wonderful thing on behalf of the GWRRA. I`m sure you will be rewarded.

Vernon this was done on behalf of a wonderful caring family of people, The GWRRA had nothing to do with this.

Look mister pippin, This is a GWRRA website, you are a GWRRA member, most of the people involved in the Hines event are GWRRA members so whether you like it or not the GWRRA is involved. And when the next issue of Wing World comes out the first thing you will be doing is looking to see if your name was included. right? Will the GWRRA be involved in that? I`m not usually a smart--- but you got me in the wrong mood. All I was trying to do was complement a lot of nice people on a very good deed and here you two come with your attitude. Well I don`t need it. Go somewhere else with it.

Vernon, the Hines thing was done without GWRRA sanctions, but it would appear that the management likes it.

I would suggest that you rethink your thoughts, look at what actually happened, and hopefully come back here tomorrow in a better mood!

Sorry Randy hit you wrong, but he is right. This was an initiative from the members at large.

Mr Hurley, I know what I did and could care less if anyone else knows. I agreed that this was a wonderful thing that was done, but it was done by us, GWRRA had nothing whatsoever to do with this.

Vernon,

Your post has good meaning, the only think Randy was trying to point out to you is that it was not done on behalf of GWRRA.
This was done by individuals, most of whom belong to GWRRA, and without this board it would never have happened.
No need to get irate brother, we know you meant good by it.

Hey guys, you're both right. This was started and carried on by members here on the boards with non-members and former members joining in. If in sanctioned you mean sponsored by a Chapter, District or even National, no it was not. It was an outpouring of love from good people.

GWRRA did present Greg with a Good Samaritan Award for all of his hard work in bring this all to fruition with the help of many friends.

Let's not diminish the fuzzy feeling by squabbling over such little things.
