This came up in Powwow Chat tonight. Who made the longest ride to attend?

The guy from England don't count, at least not the plane ride across the pond!

Besides, he was kidnapped! :-O

Does a truck count or were you looking for the longest motorcycle ride? I drove about 750 miles from Annandale, MN.

We were talking of motorcycle ride in chat, but since I'm here passing out imaginary awards, there will be honorable mention for all modes of transportation.

Who else cares to submit their one-way mileage?

Since the subject of imaginary awards came up.....

Ever heard of the drop award? Well, we didn't have any of those, but how about a "bump" award, or, "crash, I hit the 3' post in the ground with the truck, and it's my husbands fault award?"

Was I the furthest rider? I guess I really never took into account who would be the longest bike traveler. When we got home Sunday night the trip meter read 1797.4 miles. My biggest wish would be that I could turn the clock back to 5am Friday and do it all over again. Yep, it was that cool!
Ride safe!

You Da Man Mike!!!!! I rode 1068 miles there and back. My wife and I would not have missed it for the world.
No side trips unless you count the trips to the shoulder of the interstate due to the high wind in Illinois WOW! I reafirmed my dislike for interstate highway's they suck. Nothing like backroads.

MY DEAREST FAMILY OF FRIENDS;

Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend. Bill nor I will never forget it.

To help Joe (hi sweety), from what I could tell from the map and guest book, you missed Wisconsin, Kentucky, and England. Hope that helped.

God Bless!

We did come there in a cage and the round trip mileage was 1970. This was from Vermont. Ian said he had a wonderful time ("The Englishman"). He will be returning across the pond on Wed. the 20th his e mail is ianbottle@hotmail.com Kent is the Armstrong of Armstrong pickups, any of you who know anything about guitars will know you had celebrity of sorts,in your midst. his e mail is armstr@sover.net It was through his generosity that I was able to attend, as he footed most of the bills and we used his car. Ain't life grand!!!!joy
