As some of you know,
Linda fell on the stairs the day prior to the presentation on 11-9. She was pretty sore
and moving a little slow, but not about to complain, as it was Bill’s day.
Well, I talked to her today and found out that she had still been
feeling a little bad, so she went to the doctor’s office. He told her that she
has… 2 broken ribs, a fracture in her arm, some torn ligaments and of course the
normal assorted bumps and bruises.
This
wonderful Lady had all this pain all through the weekend, but was not about to
miss meeting everyone and seeing Bill receive his Wing. She even went on to say
that if she had lost an ARM she would still have been there……
God Bless
you Linda, I hope you are feeling better soon.
Bill, you have a One in a
Million Wife.

Linda, Both Doris
and I wish you a speedy recovery. I have had a chance to relate the story of
BR2 to some friends up this way. They all think it's a very heartwarming
story and what a special person you are. Bill, We all can rest easy
knowing that Linda will be in your care.

Linda, get better
quick, ya hear. I'm sure Bill's ready to do some riding. As far as her keeping
quiet about the pain during Bill's Day, does that really surprise anyone,
considering the kind of woman she is?

Greg, Linda fell at
home Friday sometime. There are 2 steps up from the garage into the house. She
was backing out of the door and fell backwards onto the concrete floor after
hitting some shelves by the door. I know she seemed to be having a hard time
getting around on Sunday. She was feeling to bad to go to dinner with
Bill,Betty,Tim,and me on Sunday.

OH MAN!! Now I feel really bad. If I would have known I would not
have hugged Linda so hard. My momma thought me that you don`t give a hug unless
you mean it. And she did not take a little hug as being enough. So all my life
when I give a hug, those in the receiving end know they been hugged and that I
meant it. Sorry if I hugged to hard Linda. If I had known I would have held
back some.

Wow, what a woman! I
noticed that she was really having a difficult time getting on the back of the
bike. I'm sure many of the hugs were a bit painful. She sure never let on how
much. I think it is now Bill's turn to take care of her for a while.

She kept it pretty
quiet even around Don and I; and although I knew it was pretty tough on her, it
was pretty important to her to see Bill have his day.
I knew it was
serious when she wasn't able to go to dinner with Bill, Don, Betty & I on
Sunday nor go to the airport.

happening.
I also, would have been much more careful in hugging you had
I known.

Linda, I know that
hurts because I had about a 350 pound softball player fall on me when I was the
catcher in a softball game and he just broke one of my ribs. I hate to say it,
but I was not as quiet about it as you were. I whined a long time! God Bless you
and from North Carolina, get well soon!
