I am so appreciative of all of you who were kind enough to jump on the computer and add your pictures and comments of Friday and Saturday's events. How amazing to see things unfold almost as they happened! Except for the hugs it made me feel completely involved even though I couldn't be there. Thank you all so much!
Yesterday was Christmas and today is Thanksgiving, at least at my place. This weekend is the only time most of the kids could be home this year so we're having Thanksgiving today (smell that turkey cooking?) And by the way...last night I made a big pot of chilly for everyone and shared the Hines story with them and even showed them pictures! We have so much to be thankful for!

Truer words were never spoken George.

This is Gratitude Month in some circles and I for one am just that.

I enjoy good health, enough meals to shut my tummy up daily for a while, clothing to cover my cold flesh, and other items I could add to this list ad infinitum. I have the blessed treasure of good friends and my almost new extended family(you folks)

I lived a good portion of my life running from life on life's terms and have spent the last few facing life and learning what a wondrous gift it is to us all.

I drove for a bachelor party last night and though I enjoyed them for a time, the drunken stupidity was rather tiresome.

SO I sit here and am grateful that I have so much and do not have to get drunk or do drugs to enjoy it.

I am grateful that I have opted for life rather than opting out in some awful way.

I am thankful for the support that folks every where have shown me in my struggles and the understanding that I am who I am and allowing me that freedom.

I am thankful for the first people of this continent for taking pity on those forefathers who ultimately annihilated their way of living in harmony with the creator and with mother earth.

I thank you all for you kindness.

What wonderful hearts you all possess!!!!

So I am grateful that I joined this organization and that I am a part of this family.

Hugs to you all and cudos for your days well lived and the generosity of your hearts.

Safe Ride Safe Home.
