Hi Linda! First let
me say it was an honor & pleasure to be there on Saturday to meet you and
Bill! Congratulations on Big Red II. It is a beautiful machine. Hope you and
Bill have many years of nice rides! But what I really posted for was to get your
chili recipe. It was very good, all 3 bowls! Could you please post the recipe
here or e-mail it to me? Thanks!! Jerry

I thought the chili
was great. This time I ate when it was still warm. At the Florentine, my dinner
was served, but by the time I sat down after jabber jaw'n it was cold. (still
good though) That was Robins fault by the way....
Jerry, I wished we
could of spent more time together.

As you may be aware
it might be a bit before Linda can post the recipe. See the message thread
above. I, too, enjoyed the chili and it definately had a kicker! It was
virtually the only thing that I had on Saturday until the Golden Corral in
Miamisburg as it was a little bit busy!

Hey y'all! Just
received this from Judi. I hope she doesn't mind me passing it along.
-------------------------------------------------
Hi Jerry!
Great to have you here this past weekend and glad you liked the chili. I'm
pretty sure that Linda used my recipe so I'll pass it on. Several of the bags
that I had frozen were in the pot anyway.
------------------------------------------------
Walk-a-Mile Chili 6# Hamburger
(browned & drained) 6 cans dark red kidney beans 6 quarts
home-canned tomatoes 3 lg. or 4 med. onions (chopped) 1/2 cup dark chili
powder 1 1/2 red hot (Thai) peppers (dried & crumbled) 2 tsp. black
pepper 2 tbsp. salt
Combine and cook down to the right consistency.
Serve with crackers, shredded cheese and love. Enjoy!

MY DEAREST FAMILY OF
FRIENDS: Well ya'll, now you know the secret, but what the heck, you're
family. Actually, I don't use the Tai Peppers but I substitute 3 cans of the
dark red kidney beans with 3 cans of spicy dark red kidney beans and then the 3
cans of regular dark red kidney beans. I also throw in a bottle of Heinz Chili
Sauce and about 1 cup of green peppers. If I run out of home-canned tomatoes,
I've used Hunts Stewed tomatoes. I make a big batch at a time and freeze it but
it can be canned. I used about 60 pounds of ground beef so it's nice to know
that everyone liked it instead of eating it to keep warm. Now that Judi
and I have confused you on the recipe, let us know how yours turns out.
God Bless!

Linda : How many does
that feed ? I'd guess about 30 . I need to cut that down a bit .We have a EMPTY
NEST so there is just two to feed. BTW hope your fractures are pain free by now
.Refrain from bending down to give Bill Q-tips . Al &
